what is a DLP projector?

DLP (digital light processing)
technology is used on some of the smallest, lightest projectors currently available. Thousands of tiny mirrors, each of which represents one pixel, are used to reflect light in order to produce a digital image. DLP projectors have a colour wheel through which light projects, to give sharper, clear, rich colours for video images. As they are digital, they produce clear images time after time, and are not subject to the same degree of colour fading over time, as LCD projectors.
